"This is an original composition that i wrote and recorded in the studio after hearing Roberto’s song “If You Are Happy”. I was so moved and inspired by the melodies in that song that i picked up my weissenborn and started writing this song. It’s not a direct copy of Roberto’s original but i wanted to capture the life and energy his song had. I had the pleasure of meeting Roberto in London this year and saw him play this wonderful song, it was a very special night. I also managed to play some of the song to Roberto in person on his own weissenborn which was another very special moment. “Sono Felice” will be featured on my upcoming new weissenborn instrumental album coming out later this year. It was played on my style 4 Koa weissenborn made by Ermanno Pasqualto of Herrmann Guitars in Italy and is played in Open D tuning. "
